Last weekend, a group of teachers attended a course in the Hospedería in Garrovillas de Alconetar, in Cáceres. The objective was to develop communicative skills in English, so no Spanish was allowed!
They were divided in smaller groups , led by a native speaker. After a welcome coffe they participated in the different activities the coordinator, Janine McNair, had organized: A Treasure Hunt in the village and a visit to the Corral de Comedias. She had also prepared a wokshop about The Romans and another about the famous Scottish dancing, the Ceilidh.
On Sunday morning they did the Route of the almond trees and visited the Convento de las Jerónimas.
It was a magical warm autumn weekend!
